Ok, so yesterday, I got home made dinner, did a couple of loads of laundry, and got dressed for church...left in PLENTY of time to stop and get myself an un-sweet tea...got to church...NO ONE ELSE WAS THERE!!! I thought "WOW, I'm the ONLY COMMITTED PERSON IN THIS CHURCH...THE ONLY ONE WHO SHOWED UP for Wednesday night service..."then it hit me...IT'S TUESDAY...sometimes I think I SHOULD be committed...
SOOO, I was captivated by Oprah's show Wednesday w/ Mckenzie Phillips...here are just a FEW of her family's reactions
FAMILY REACTS TO MACKENZIE PHILLIPS' REVELATION
Family members are reacting to Mackenzie Phillips' claim that she had a 10-year incestuous relationship with her father, The Mamas and the Papas leader John Phillips.
Mackenzie's former stepmother Michelle Phillips tells Roger Friedman of Showbiz 4-1-1, "Mackenzie has a lot of mental illness. She's had a needle stuck up her arm for 35 years. She was arrested for heroin and coke just recently. She did Celebrity Rehab and now she writes a book. The whole thing is timed."
Genevieve Waite Phillips, who was married to John Phillips at the time the abused allegedly occurred, says, "John was a good man who had the disease of alcoholism and drug addiction. He was incapable, no matter how drunk or drugged he was, of having such a relationship with his own child."
Half-sister Chynna Phillips, who is scheduled to appear with Mackenzie on Oprah today (Friday), says Mackenzie told her about the relationship in a phone call in 1997. "A part of me died when I found out. Somebody could have dropped a piano on my head and I probably wouldn't have felt it. But I knew it was true. I mean, who in their right mind would make such a claim if it wasn't true?" (audio)
So, this weekend was FUN FILLED to say the least...Added someone to my Facebook account, but instead of typing "add" I TYPED "ass"...he saw it, thought I was being ugly...had to take my youngest to the ER...(btw, my youngest is a 6 yr old shi-tzu)...and laid on the couch ALL DAY yesterday, watching the FEEL GOOD flick of the year, Schindler's List...OHHHH, and fyi FAME SUCKS!!!! I was too sheltered to see the original, so I can't say how it holds up, BUT Fraiser, Lilleth, and Karen are NOTHING LIKE THEMSELVES IN THIS MOVIE!!!!
_________________________________________________________________ SOOO, here's the latest from John Travolta's camp: TRAVOLTA RETURNS TO THE STAND
John Travolta testified yesterday in the Bahamas that a paramedic threatened to sell stories to the news media implying that the actor was to blame in the death of his son Jett.
Travolta, who returned to the stand in the extortion case, says paramedic Tarino Lightbourn demanded 25-million dollars not to release a consent document that the actor signed when medics arrived to aid his son.
Travolta told the court, "If [the demands] were not met, then certain stories connected to that document would be sold to the press. They were stories that implied that the death of my son was intentional -- that I was culpable in some way."
Such a SAD situation for the parents of a dead child to have to go thru...

Ok, so here's THE LATEST on the Jon and Kate Plus 8 front
GOSSELIN RULING DUE TODAY
Is Jon Gosselin contemptible? We'll find out later today, when a Pennsylvania judge issues a ruling in the financial tussle between the reality baddie and estranged wife Kate.
Kate -- who wants Jon to return money she says he illegally poached from their joint bank accounts, as well as sell his luxury cars -- has been making the talk show rounds sobbing about her cash woes. Jon, in the meantime, says his ex is lying and insists he's been above-board about his spending.
There's not a single soul out there who's not interested in saving money and getting free stuff. MrCheapStuff.comoffers a load of free samples, money-saving coupons and even some very helpful money-saving tips.
Another MS guy...Jamie Davis...if you EVER get a chance to see him live w/ his band Soul Gravy, RUN, don't walk...AWESOME!!!
OHHHH, and here are those 10 things you can do to look better when you wake up...
10 WAYS TO WAKE UP BEAUTIFUL
Want to wake up feeling refreshed and ravishing? Here are some ways ...
1. Start Early -- like last night. Get into the habit of washing your face a few hours before bed. Nighttime is also the best time to treat your skin because there is better blood flow.
2. Sleep On Your Back -- Many dermatologists say they can tell what side of the face people sleep on by the number of wrinkles there.
3. Get A Lift -- Sleep with your head elevated on a pair of pillows; it will improve lymph and blood flow so that you won't wake up puffy.
4. Save Money, Not Wrinkles -- At night you don't need to worry about eye treatments smearing your makeup, so slather on the richest formula you can, says dermatologist Laurie Polis. She swears by Aquaphor: "It conditions lashes and hydrates the delicate eye skin really well."
5. Sneak A Glow -- Mix a drop of self-tanner into your night cream or use a cream that contains a bit of tan-producing DHA.
6. Avoid Carb Face -- Want to wake with defined cheekbones? Eat a high-protein, low-sugar dinner. Cabrs can make your face "take on a soft, doughy appearance," says dermatologist Nicholas Perricone.
7. Wrap It Up -- Minimize bed-head frizz by using a satin pillowcase or wearing your hair in a silk scarf.
8. Find Your Inner Ballerina -- For volume and waves in the morning, pile your hair into a twist on the top of your head.
9. Turn On the Hair Conditioning -- Hate waiting in the shower? Sleep with a moisturizing treatment in damp hair overnight.
10. Pop a Rooster Pill -- HUH? Writers at Yahoo were skeptical, too, but became converts. The Wake Up On Time pills, developed by a sleep-deprived mom, contain thiamin, riboflavin, niacin and vitamins B6 and B12. The claim is that you'll wake up feeling clear and unfuzzy. (wakeupontime.com)
